Christine N Meynard

Senior researcher on macroecology

French national institute of research for agriculture, food and the environment (INRAE), France

With a PhD in Ecology and Conservation Biology from the University of California, Davis, Christine has been working at the INRAE on macroecological problems related to agriculture and global change since 2010. Her research spans theoretical and applied macroecology in two main areas of research: the modelling of species distributions, including the effects of climate change and other anthropogenic drivers on individual species ranges, on agricultural pest distributions and on biodiversity; and the biodiversity - environment relationships at large scales, including the effects of agricultural practices and climate on different facets of biodiversity.
